What is a Stiletto Award??? Click here to find out from Jill

I've got to say when I read the description of the Stiletto award it brought a tear to my eye that Dondi would bestow this hot award to me.  I pass the Stiletto award to all the ladies above that showed me award love AND my book club gals for all their inspiration and comradery.

Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers I am finally starting to feel better. I have pulled a muscle in my back/shoulder area from coughing and it hurts bad, but it's better than having trouble breathing.

It Happened

I'm a Hoarder. I didn't even realize it until it was too late

What am I hoarding you ask??

**sigh**

Blog Awards

"This award means you're really going places, Baby.
You'll still be blogging about your great adventures 10
years from now, and I'll still be reading them."

From Melissa at The Marsh Family Blog, it's hard to wrap my mind around blogging in the next ten years. What will life look like? Well in order to accept this award I give it my best shot.

- I will be 42 and hopefully done working and really involved at my kids schools and in their lives
- Dade will be 13+ and finishing middle school
- I will have TWO prepubescent girls (Lord help me!!)
- Maybe another kid or two??
- At least one family trip to Paraguay (Maybe we will move there, don't freak out mom)
- I hope above hope that I am and can be a better example of Jesus to my kids and give them soft tender hearts that are full of love in the next ten years.

Now I need to pass this on to 10 blogs I see myself reading for the next ten years
Arizona Mamma @ Our Daze in the Desert
Adriane @ Gabby and Gracie
Lindsay @ Stressed and Blessed
Helga @ My World

Jen at Our Daily Lifex4 gave me a repeat of the Best Blog award which is super sweet. I don't always feel like the best blogger. I wish I did better with posting and even better with commenting on others blogs. I'm suppose to pass this one on to 15 people. I don't know if I'll make it to 15, but I'm passing it on to some new blogs that I have recently found and really enjoy.

Linds @ A Dollop of My Life
Nic @ Chaoticarkfamily
Lee-Ann @ Lee-Ann's Crazy Life
Chrissy @ Traveling Light
Jenn @ Seizing My Day
Kristina @ 3 Under 4
Robyn @ A Like{Lee} Story
Rhonda @ Made in Secret
Mama Marchand @ Marchand's Musings
Rachel @ Occasional Boredom in an Otherwise Exciting Life
Mindy @ One Day at a Time

Dondi at Confessions of a Housewife gave me these lovely handful of awards but I didn't see any rules on her post. So I am asking you if you are reading to go show some love to Dondi. I think she is a pretty awesome Mama who has been having a pretty rough time the past few weeks and encouraging comments always make my heart smile, so go show her some love.

Arizona Mamma at Our Daze in the Desert a very dear friend to me handed me the Circle of Friends award and it come with no rules and no passing. Ok, I'll take it. Thank.you.very.much

Lee-Ann at Lee-Ann's Crazy Life passed the beautiful sunshine award to me. It's so pretty!! I'm suppose to sent this one on to 12 people and I'll give it a go but am making no promises.

Tiff @ Still Seeking Sanity
Stefany @ To.Be.Thode
Goldylocks aka Erin @ Goldylocks & Her Three Bears
Ace @ If you Think Round is Funny
Sarah @ Kingdom Twindom
Melissa @ The Marsh Family
Dondi @ Confession of a Housewife
Jen @ Our Daily Life x4

Enjoy your award friends and learn a lesson from me, do not hoard the awards. Though the whole purging posting process makes me feel like my blog is all "cleaned up" now.

A Bloggy Christmas Present

I woke yesterday morning to find another present had been left under the tree, the Arizona Momma gave me this sweet little award. Arizona Momma is the one holding the contest, I may have mentioned a time or two or five. She has a beautiful blog of blue and yellow and posts a recipe every Tuesday called Tasty Tuesday oh oh and she has super cute hair.

So the rules for this cute little award: thank the giver, link to their blog, list 5 things about yourself and pass it on to five more people.

THANK YOU ARIZONA MOMMA!!

Soooooo 5 things about lil ole me...

1. I do all the laundry fold it and leave it in the basket. I loathe and depise putting away and hanging clothes. Right now I have 5 baskets of clean laundry in my room.
2. I am way addicted to Cherry Coke. I LOVE IT!!
3. When I blow my nose it sounds like a foghorn, no joke, even the hubs makes fun of it and my girls laugh when I blow my nose.
4. I have an over sensitive gag reflex that makes brushing my teeth difficult.
5. Before marriage and kids I swore I would never ever drive a minivan. Today I drive a red Dodge Grand Caravan

Aaannnnnd 5 people to pass this lil award on to...

1. Brianne at Mommys Time Today
2. Julia at Sweet as Punkin Pie
3. Dondi at Confession of a Housewife
4. Laura at The Bignell Family

& Finally, I pass it right on back to..
5. Arizona Momma at Our Daze in the Desert

I tell you what this linking stuff is hard work & I'm quite sure it's racking up my internet ticks in the IT department. So if you are on the list and read this before I am able to leave you a comment. Please feel free to accept.

It's official I'm the best. You want to know how I know? Dondi at Confessions of a Housewife told me so. You better recognize.

I need to figure out how to get one of those scrolly widgets to display all my bloggy love.

The rules (because you know it comes with rules)- Pass the award on to 15 people. Most on my list have recieved the reward but alas they are new to me and I think they are indeed the BEST!

Confessions From a Working Mom
The (Un) Experienced Mom
My Little Life
MannLand5
Kate's Life
All a Bunch of Momsense
The Bignell Family
Mommys Time
A Different Kind of Southern Girl
Part of Me
Coloring Outside the Lines
Planes, Trains and Automobile and the things that make up days

Well I didn't quite make 15, hmmm I guess I need more friends and blogs to follow.

You want to know what else is the best...

When your three year old wakes up last Thursday declares, "Mama no more diapers." and thus is now day-time potty trained. Only one accident and is all about the egg timer. I will never get tired of hearing, "Mama I got the pees out. I need to wash my hands."

And Finally.. the Best Tuesday Blog Hop

Truthful Tuesday brought to you by Elizabeth

How early is too early to decorate for Christmas?

Personally, it needs to be December before I start to decorate for Christmas. Since I'm being truthful and all since we have been married Jon and I have gotten our tree the week before Christmas. Sad I know. This year will be different because Dade is SOOOO excited about Christmas, which in turn makes this Mama super excited. So we will probably decorate next weekend. Hopefully we can corral these two

and keep them from un-decorating the tree, opening the presents and just causing general havoc, until the 25th.

Who Me?? Again..

** Edit - I forgot to mention I also won some real live goods from Chell at Nicely Composed. Thank you so much for having a contest!!

I have once again been bestowed a blogger award. Brianne thinks I'm warm & fuzzy (not my words, but rather those of the award). Brianne thank you so much for the award and I'm sorry I was delayed in my acceptance.
Rules:
Display the award logo (Check!)
Nominate up to 9 blogs that make you feel comfy and warm inside (Woo Hoo to up to)
Link to said nominees
Link to the person from whom you received the award (Check!)
Nominees (9 or less):
This is really harder than is seems most of the blogs I read:
1. Have already received this award OR
2. Don't read MY blog and even know who I am
So if I follow you and you follow me this award is all yours because that means at some level or during some post you likely made me feel warm and fuzzy. Leave me a comment if you picked up the award.
Thanks again, Brianne!! Sorry I copped out on the rules a smidgen.
++++++++++++++++++
As for me the weekend was crap. I had a four day headache that kept me awake. As if waking with my children isn't enough.
Thank you to all that gave advice on the sleep situation. We are "trying" to move bed-time up, but breaking out of our schedule is hard. Thursday or Friday night was awful, no I think it was Saturday night. I can't really remember. Coralee woke up crying I go in to get her and Brennan wakes up. We give them bottles and lay them back down. They are still awake and crying. We let them go a little bit, but then the screaming started. UGH! I rocked Brennan to sleep and Coralee took another bottle (8oz. total in 1½ hours). Two hours later Jon and I were able to sleep. Maybe now that my headache is gone the week won't seem so bad and hopefully one day we will find the magic key to a full night sleep. Ok enough of my crappy attitude..

I Win!! I Win!!

I been watching as other blogs I follow are receiving blog awards and I was taken back to being the last girl picked for dodge ball in elementary school. But look at this...

It's my turn BABY!! Karen nominated my little 'ole blog for this award and I'm so honored. By the way Karen I can't believe you are a grandma, you look fabulous!! Oh! and thank you for my very first award and making sure I wasn't picked last for the team :o)

So there are some rules to follow, though I'm not really one for rules I will do my best.

1) Must thank the person who gave the award and list their blog and link it.
2) Share "10 Honest Things" about yourself.
3) Present this award to 7 others whose blogs you find brilliant in content and/or design, or those who have encouraged you.
4) Tell those 7 people they've been awarded HONEST SCRAP and inform them of these guidelines in receiving the award.

10 Honest, yet Random, things about me

1. I wear the same jewelry every single day. Wedding rings, rose gold diamond ring from my grandmother, diamond earrings that I got from my husband on my 30th birthday and a locket that I got for my first mother's day. I would love to be a girl who could accessorize her outfits with beads, bangles and dangly earrings, but I either end up feeling like I look goofy or end up playing with it and get distracted. I can't even wear a watch.

2. I have an irrational fear of bathtub/shower drains. I saw a show when I was young, I don't even remember what it was, and the little girl got swirled down into the drain. That was it for me, to this day I avoid stepping on the drain in my stand up shower.

3. I am one of very few people that does not own an IPOD.

4. I can work some mad formula writing skills in an Excel workbook and it's all self taught. I am the go-to girl at work for creating elaborate reports and such.

5. I have never had a best friend in my life. I have friends, close friends, but never a best friend.

6. I will not argue with someone unless I KNOW that I am right. It's a character flaw I know.

7. I am a huge procrastinator, but I never miss a deadline.

8. I hated school, but took advance placement classes all through high school, never studied and got mostly A's and B's. I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I applied myself and went to college.

9. I went to trade school to be a travel agent, but I work in the mortgage industry.

10. I might currently be addicted to Farmville and Cafe World in Facebook. I know it's lame, but I just can't help myself, must level up...

7 Blogs I find Brilliant or Encouraging
These are all twin mama's at various stages in the journey. I'm glad I found them and have enjoyed following along.

1. Adriane - Working mama to twin girlies just a little older than mine and just as cute. I feel like we have alot in common and wish I could meet her someday.
2. Heather - Another mama to 3 in less than 3 years, but she has all girls. I found Heather's blog pretty early in my pregnancy and stalked along.
3. Jennifer - The first twin mama blog I found that was pregnant at the same time as me. Jennifer's girls were teeny tiny when they were born and now they are beautiful 1 year olds.
4. CJ - CJ, found me. We have both struggled with childcare and have exchanged some e-mails. She just recently posted a beautiful picture of herself with her boys.
5. Mandy - Mandy is a brand new mama to boy/girl twins. I wish I had tracked my pregnancy like she did. I know all too well the issues that she had near the end of her pregnancy.
6. Tiff - The first twin mama I found. She graciously accepted my crazed e-mails when I first found out it was twins, and girls. She likely thought I was a nut, but I promise it was the hormones talking.
7. Lindsay - Like Tiff, Lindsay also has 4, but her twins are nearly the same age as mine. I am still amazed that she takes all 4 of them out of the house by herself without having a mental breakdown.
