It's Friday and I'm at Home.

**Edited at 10:51am to include reality in my fantastic delusions from last night

It's about 10:48 on Thursday night, give or take a few seconds, I have a lemon pound cake baking in the oven. It was not done until 11:45, I was thoroughly exhausted by the time I made it to bed. I'm putting together my Five Question Friday tonight because tomorrow I have every intention of being out somewhere doing something with my babies. No, I'm at home. Barely awake and functioning. After falling in bed around 12am I was wakened just 2 and 1/2 hours later to screaming and spent the next 3 hours in various states of awake and asleep with teething 18 month olds. GOOD TIMES!! The kids however are raring to go, their voices at a pitch only one decibel below that sound that only a dog can hear and all three of them want to be carpenters this morning. If I could I would prop my lids open with toothpicks. My coffee is not working, you ask why, well because I chose this week to switch to half-caff in hopes of breaking my addiction. Again, GOOD TIMES!!

That's right people, I HAVE THE DAY OFF! WOOT! WOOT! Still happy to be with my kids, but AM SO ready for nap time.

Five Question Friday how I missed you so. I know it was only one week, but it feels like it's been oh so much longer. Pssst, I was hoping to be able to vlog this (it's addicting) but my niece is staying over and she crashed out on the couch. Not really looking for an audience to laugh at me.

1. Take your pick...date night, girls night out, or night out alone?
Date night for sure. With the littles and sparse access to weekend babysitting I would love some one on one time with my husband.

2. Can you touch your nose with your tongue?
No, people can do that? I better see some pictures, I just don't believe it.

3. What is your favorite flower and why?

I don't know why they are my favorite flower. I love the way they smell and think they are beautiful.

4. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself?
Don't eat the food if you aren't hungry.
Middle school really won't matter in the whole scheme of things.
Be true to yourself and really truly don't care what others think of you. Their opinion will mean so much less as you age.
Finally, for the love of all things holy. Save your money. You do not need every.single.copy  of Bop, Teen Beat, Tiger Beat and every other cotton picking magazine with a picture of the New Kids on the Block in it. Really get a grip! you are never going to meet them and spackling those pin holes in your bedroom will suck.

5. If you won the lottery, what is the very first thing you would do?
Take a seat 'cuz this one is gonna wow you...

Are

You

Ready?

Take the day off work to find a lawyer and a financial planner. I would not quit work until the Lotto Authority verified 50 million times that we had truly won. I know that is a shocking answer, I'm just so stinkin' practical.

There you have it. I'm probably off looking at paint colors or something as you read this on Friday. Right now my cake isn't quite done yet and now I'm super-di-duper tired.

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I do. Since our nieces are with us for the weekend we asked them if they would mind watching the kiddos while we went on a date. This got the kibosh, too. My niece got called into work on Saturday night. Not so, Yipppee!! any more.

Happy Friday Ya'll!!

My answer for the lottery is very similar. It's not that I don't trust the lottery (although it is run by the state, and you never know about the government and money), but my life doesn't revolve around money and wanting stuff all the time. Sure I want stuff, but I am willing to be patient and put things on hold too :) Have a great day off with your kiddos!

I love Star Gazer Lillies too! In fact, we have some in the backyard and they should be blooming anytime! I'm so not patient! If I won the lottery, I'd hire a private jet and fly to Vegas!

If we won the lottery, oh....I can't even begin to imagine all we would do. Money is tight these days, and it's draining!

How'd the cake finally turn out?
