Snow, Ya Ever heard of it??

Hey Ya'll, have you heard what's going on in my little part of the country? It's snowing. I'm not talking a regular ole snow storm. oh no no.. I'm talking snowpocalypse, snowmageddon or you could just call it the Blizzard of 2010
Our mailbox at 7:30 and again at 1pm
Our tree at 7:30 and again at 1pm. (Jon went out and shook it off.)
It's still coming down at a pretty good clip and the wind is blowing causing some pretty bad drifts. When it's all said and done around 9 o'clock tonight we will very likely have 3+ feet. There is a good chance we could be snowed in for about three days. What is it about being snowed in? I would give anything to financially be able to stay home with our children, but when it looks like we won't be able to leave the house for three days I want nothing more than to hop in the car and head to Target.

What have the kiddos been up to with all this snow?

The girls rocked some fauxhawks at breakfast, then had a bath. Brennan once again has a runny nose. UGH!!

Not to be out done by his sisters and proving he needs a haircut...
Dade opted out of going outside because it's too cold. Well, that and we didn't really give him the option since he has no snowsuit and this is most definitely snowsuit kind of snow. Instead he went to the basement with Papa and played bibeo (video) games on the Wii. He even beat Jon at some of the games that they played.

For those of you wondering where in the world I have been since Wednesday, well... I have been assigned a rather daunting task at work that causes the gray matter in my head to liquify throughout the day, leaving me less than interested in sitting at the computer to type anymore cotton pickin' words. I'm sorry to those that have given me blog awards, I promise I am grateful and haven't forgotten. As for my regular weekly meme's that I participate in, said project keeps me away from my desk for many hours of the work day. I hope to be better this week. Ohh! and right after I post this I will be doing 5QF even if it is a day late.

Be back in 15  30 mins....

I hear ya on the snow storm! We are in Southeastern PA very close to the MD border and we are looking at around 24" here right now. And I'm here alone with the kiddos since my husband was put up in a hotel last night by his company and will be there until Sunday night! :(

Love the snow pics...we are in PA about 15 miles from the MD border and we also have about 24". Luckily my husband shoveled us out...while I kept the kiddos content in the house!

Ok is it bad that I'm jealous of all your snow? The most snow I've seen in the last like 10 years was maybe....just maybe an inch. I want snow!! :) So I'll trade ya - I'll come up & be snowed in for days. You can come on down to sunny FL where it's in the 50s.

Oh, I love your pics...living in the midwest we have had one of these this year, and are slated to get another one this week. Shouldn't be TOO bad, they are predicting 6-10 inches over 2 days. Will be running my errands this afternoon. Won't see much of my husband if that happens, he plows the roads...enjoy your snow!

Okay, can't you just tell work to pop smoke? Your fans are waiting. Come on, it's all about priorities ;)
