Some things I learned today..

- I can take all three of my children unassisted to the mall to get sized and fitted for shoes

- Once on the waiting list at Stride Rite you will likely have enough time to leave the store wander around the mall looking for a bathroom, find said bathroom, manuever your gigantic stroller into the family bathroom, allow your three year to use the bathroom and wash his hands, while not losing your spot on the waiting list,

- Stride Rite is a busy place on a rather innocuous Wednesday morning right after the mall opens.

- The Stride Rite sale of Buy One Get One half off is a dream to a mama of three kids with super wide feet.

- Missing my exit on the highway give the babies a few extra minutes to sleep and puts me closer to a McDonald's reward for listening so well.

- I really need to move Brennan's crib away from the wall in her room. So that when she doesn't feel like sleeping she can't bang her crib and make the noise reverberate throughout the house.

- That laying down on Dade's new big boy bed to snuggle him makes me realize just how sleepy I am, but I wouldn't change it for anything.

- Sacrificing my nap to snuggle with Coralee whose teeth hurt was really no sacrifice at all because these moments are so fleeting.

- No matter what the temperature, coffee is not for chugging.

Annoyed here. I typed a comment, and it failed, and it wasn't saved. Ugh!

Anyway, I love laying next to my little ones at naptime.

Oh, and coffee for chugging? I could have saved you that lesson.

Glad you had a successful day. Anything ending in a little cuddle has to be good, right?

Kudos to your for taking all your kiddos to the mall. I've taken all mine to the dr, the grocery store & to Target. But I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to try for the mall.

We had a night like that earlier this week. Kenzie's starting to get growing pains in her legs so I had to miss my regularly scheduled "me" time to watch House to cuddle with her. But it was well worth it.

I could have written 92% of this post myself. It's like you're in my head! You're not in my head...right?
